Objectives: This is a foundational course that plays an important role in preparing students in understanding of science, engineering, and mathematics.

Description: Students are introduced to concepts of limits and continuity of a function of a single variable as well as differentiation of trigonometric functions and their inverses, exponential and logarithmic functions, basic concepts on Leibnitz’s rule, trapezium and Simpson rules, Rolle’s Theorem, introduction to differentiation and integration of vector functions, systems of equations, inequalities, vectors, and matrices.
